RWS Global is hosting auditions in Manchester on July 31st seeking Dancers for Alton Towers Resort’s upcoming Halloween season.

This opportunity is located at Alton Towers Resort in Stoke on Trent.

The Alton Ancestors are a group of characters who perform during Alton Towers Resort Scarefest event. They are depicted as ghoulish, undead figures who have risen from their graves to roam the park. Their performances include flash mobs on Towers Street and a “Final Haunt”.

AUDITION DATE: 31st of July 2025

AUDITION VENUE: Dancehouse/Performers College, Manchester.

AUDITION INSTRUCTIONS:

There will be 30 minutes to sign in and get warmed up, ready to dance at your scheduled time. Bring your CV (if your headshot is not on your CV you can bring this separately)

Wear form fitting attire that shows lines and aesthetics. Bring flat jazz shoes and dance trainers. There is no need to bring heels. 

SEEKING: Strong Male and Female Dancers. Must be 18 years of age or older. Prior theatre or live entertainment experience preferred.

DANCERS: Seeking versatile and dynamic professional dancers with strong technical foundations and a great commercial edge. Dancers should possess a commanding stage presence with the ability to interact and engage with family orientated audiences.

NOTE: Performers can be Black, Indigenous, Latinx, Asian/Pacific Islander, Middle Eastern/North African/South Asian, and/or White as well as inclusive of all gender identities. 

CONTRACT INFORMATION:

Rehearsal Dates: From 17th September at Alton Towers Resort for a 5 day duration. (Dates TBC)

Dates of contract: 27th, 28th September | 3rd, 4th, 5th October | 10th, 11th, 12th October | 17th – 31st October & 1st, 2nd November 2025

*Daily fee – £110 per day.

*Performers will be involved in our Ancestors Flash Mob throughout the park and final Stage show at the end of the day.

*It is the performers responsibility to source and pay for travel to and from Alton Towers Resorts. Accommodation can be negotiated and will be deducted out of your wage.

*Free onsite parking is available for all performers.

RWS Global is hosting auditions on July 30th seeking Scare Actors for Alton Towers Resort, LEGOLAND® Windsor and Chessington World of Adventures Resort.

Dates of contract: 

Alton Towers Resort:

27th September – 2nd November

Rehearsal Dates: From 17th September – 26th September

LEGOLAND® Windsor:

4th October – 2nd November

Rehearsal Dates: 25th September – 2nd October

Chessington World Of Adventures Resort:

4th October – 2nd November

Rehearsal Dates: From 2nd September – 3rd October (dependent on the attraction)

Audition Schedule –Merlin Halloween Scare Actors

10.00 and 13:00: Auditions for family attractions. (Ability to create a fun and engaging spooky atmosphere without being overly frightening or distressing for children.)

16:00: Auditions for scare mazes and scare zones. (Ability to deliver intense, immersive scare performances that are tailored to an adult audience)
