ACROBATS CASTING FOR NEXT SEASON OF LION KING

For the 13th season of the Lion King: Rhythms of the Pride Land show, Disneyland Paris is looking for acrobats /gymnasts (F/M/NB) able to perform on specific show apparatus (straps, aerial spiral, articulated mast, bungee straps etc...). The profiles require a solid physical condition, sense of direction and spatial cognition, musicality, and strong performance skills.

Female profiles

 • Height range between 155 cm and 173 cm

 • Strong aerial skills

 • Notions of dance required

 Male profiles

 • Height range between 160 cm and 185 cm

 • High level of gymnastics

 • Skills in aerial straps

 • Notions of dance will be a plus

Join one of the biggest stages in Europe and apply for our auditions which will take place in “Ile de France”. At least 4 days after the applications end date, the candidates will receive an email from Disneyland Paris Talent Casting team’s recruiters with an invitation for the audition, containing all the additional details. Please wait until you receive an official invitation before booking your trip if necessary. If you live outside of France, you can apply for our auditions regardless of your location. The auditions will take place physically in “Ile de France” in June. If you do not receive any news from the Talent Casting Team 4 days past the application end date you may consider you were not selected this time around.

Type of Contract: Intermittents du Spectacle

These positions are intended for candidates of legal age (18yo and +) or similar, regarding the labor regulations protecting young workers.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR APPLICATION AND ONLINE AUDITION REGISTRATION

2 steps process. Candidates must submit their application and register for an audition for it to be valid.

STEP 1 - INSTRUCTION FOR CREATING YOUR PROFILE Go to checkin.disneyauditions.com and click on “My Profile” to create or update your profile.

You will be asked to download or update at least 2 photos, one full-length and one in portrait (face clear with light makeup if you wish), along with 1 video showreel (or link) showing your acrobatic skills and other. 

You will find below the elements you should include in your video:

Male acrobats:

 • 30 sec max : presentation facing the camera ( name, age, background, motivation to join the cast)

 • Flex: 3 splits, bridge, pike position

 • Strength: rope climb in L sit (up and down), 10 chin ups without swinging, 10 leg raises

 • 30 sec max : tumbling and acrobatics on floor ( forward; backward and tricking)

 • 30 secs to 1 min max: For artistic gymnasts: show your best swinging elements on rings as well as high bar including dismounts + skills on one and 2 arms on straps if experience. For circus artists: skills on one and two arms on straps as well as duo sequences if experienced, bungee straps sequences if experience.

 • 30 sec to 1 min max: images from competitions and/or showcases.

Female acrobats:

 • 30 sec max : presentation facing the camera ( name, age, background, motivation to join the cast)

 • Flex: 3 splits, bridge, pike position

 • Strength: rope climb in L sit, 30 sec hold with chin over the bar, 10 leg raises

 • 1 min max in practice: skills on aerial hoop/Lyra or straps or aerial silk/hammock or spanish web/corde lisse. Aerial spirale footages are welcome if experience.

 • 30 secs to 1 min max: danse improv , floor movement.
