With the dates, location and full details of the production’s upcoming run to be revealed at a later date, the open casting call is aimed at boys aged nine to 14 and girls aged nine to 12. Launching the talent search, casting director Jessica Ronane said: “We are delighted to be starting a new nationwide search to find our next generation of boys to play Billy Elliot. Following in the footsteps of some of the most beloved stars whose careers were launched by this extraordinary production.” Boys hoping to win the roles of Billy and Michael should be under five foot tall with unchanged voices.
