THEATRE - Versatile Performers (UK based, age 18-65) for new Christmas show, Pinocchio (apply by 3rd May)



This Christmas Gloucester Guildhall will be presenting a new Christmas show,


produced by Strike a Light, directed by Emma Williams and original music by Tom Johnson.

Production  Dates: 6th December 2019 – 3rd January 2020
There will be some early R&D (dates TBC) and a four week rehearsal period in Gloucester from 11th November 2019.Fee: Equity minimum

What we are looking for:

We are looking for 5 actors, preferably with musical playing skills who can sing and ideally dance. We are committed to creating a diverse cast so welcome applications from people within the playing ages of 18-65 and from any gender identity. We are particularly keen to hear from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) candidates.


Saturday 18th May (slots between 10.30am and 4:30pm) in Gloucester.

Join us this Christmas for a festive adventure with our magical adaptation of the classic tale of Pinocchio, with live music and puppetry.
A treat for all who are curious, creative and fearless adventurers…..
Pinocchio is a wooden puppet who just wants to be a real boy. On a quest to make this happen, Pinocchio leaves his father’s workshop with his friend Jiminy Cricket and falls into a wild adventure with dodgy foxes, a pleasure island and a whale at the bottom of an ocean.

With an ever growing nose and a scent for adventure will Pinocchio ever become a real boy? Suitable for ages 7+
