THEATRE - UK based Actor-Musician (strong singing voice) for development of a new children’s theatre project (apply by 30th May)

CASTING

FEEL Theatre are looking for:

- an actor musician with a strong singing voice for the upcoming development of a new children’s project under the working title of ‘Magical Moggie’.

Must have a background in devising, clowning, and physical theatre. Ability to play an instrument essential; particularly, wind, string, or percussion instruments. Any magic skills a bonus but not essential.

Particularly interested in seeing actors who identify as BAME and/or disabled.

The R&D will run from 8th July - 26th July 2019. The R&D will take place in both Kent (Rose Bruford) and Essex (Southend). Accomodation will not be provided. Pay will be £470 per week.

Auditions will be held on ​Friday 7th June ​in East London.
Candidates must be in possession of an enhanced DBS check as there will be some work with young people as part of the R&D process.

‘Magical Moggie’ was first co-developed and created working with Greenwich and Lewisham Young People’s Theatre in 2018. We are now entering a second stage of development supported by Arts Council England, The Margot Florence Foundation, Rose Bruford College and South Essex College.
