Casting - Barbican Theatre
- professional actors with a strong local connection (Plymouth/Devon) for this highly visual, unusual and accessible production.
Following our three previous productions, A Midsummer Night’s Dream (2015), Romeo & Juliet (2016) and Twelfth Night (2017) Barbican Theatre (Plymouth) is producing an outdoor production of Macbeth in summer 2018.
Macbeth will be the fourth production in our extremely popular annual ‘Bard in the Yard’ programme, running outdoors at the extraordinary Royal William Yard site, adjacent to Plymouth’s historic waterfront. Our three previous productions were hugely successful and played to an average of 78% houses.
