Looking for a performer who identifies as male or non-binary, applicants should have or feel comfortable with masculine gender expression.
Playing age: 24-30

'____is where is the heart is' works with both text and movement and so we're keen to meet performers who are comfortable in both areas.
The movement will be choreographed specifically for the performer and will be inspired by their own everyday movements including mobility aids, signing, ticks or spasms.

The piece explores identity, displacement and what it means to be other in a space that is built on social traditions.
'____is where the heart is' will work with local communities in each of the areas it visits to include stories into the work.

We're seeking a performer with a strong understanding of the political context of disability and experience of creating work that challenges perceptions.
