THEATRE - 2x Male & 1x Female Actors (Greater Manchester based) for new play 'Not Yours, Mine' (apply by 7th April)

CASTING - NOT YOURS, MINE - OLDHAM COLISEUM

We’re casting for our new play, Not Yours, Mine to premiere at Oldham Coliseum in June 2019. We are casting for 3 roles; Adam, Lewis and Joyce.


Key Dates & Details:
Location:           Oldham Coliseum, Greater Manchester
Rehearsals:       13th-18th (excl. 16th), 20th-25th, 31st May (Must be available for all)
Tech Day:         1st June (Must be available)
Shows:               1st, 4th, 6th, 7th June (Must be available for all)
Salary:               £483.00 per week. (Total: £1,449) ITC Rates

Audition Details:
17th and 18th April 2019 in Oldham 

The Roles:
- ADAM (Male, 18 – 23)
Must be Greater Manchester based (no travel/accommodation fees included)
Accent: Northern
Adam is a working-class, young man who lives at home with his agoraphobic mother, Joyce. He is a caring young man who wants to do the right thing but doesn’t always know how to. He is reluctant to grow up but wants to be a good father to his newly born son. Requires physical theatre abilities, and a wide emotional range.

- LEWIS (Male, 18 – 23)
Must be Greater Manchester based (no travel/accommodation fees included)
Accent: Northern
Lewis is fun loving, unassuming, and reluctant to grow up or take life too seriously. He acts as the narrator of the piece with spoken word sections. Character also multi-roles. Requires both physical theatre abilities and versatility.

- JOYCE (Female, 38 – 52)
Must be Greater Manchester based (no travel/accommodation fees included)
Accent: Northern
Joyce is a single mother to Adam. She has suffered from agoraphobia since her husband passed away several years ago. She is a protective, somewhat over-bearing and kind-hearted character. Character also multi-roles. Requires both comfort with physical theatre and versatility.
