CASTING - LOTTO
Martin Gibbons Casting are casting for a series of Lotto commercials.
In the commercials, we see various (x5) newsagents who advertise their lottery rollovers in various different spectacular ways.
As well as casting experienced actors, we are also looking at streetcasting and casting actors with less experience.
You would need to be available for the following periods:
Possible recall in Manchester - Wednesday 1st August 2018
Wardrobe Call - w/c 6th August 2018
Shoot - w/c 13th August 2018
WE ARE LOOKING FOR SELF-TAPES FROM PEOPLE WITH THE FOLLOWING ACCENTS:
- SCOTTISH (Any area)
- WELSH (Any area)
- NEWCASTLE / GEORDIE
**IMPORTANT NOTE: You must be aged 25 or over due to advertising regulations**
We need to find a cross-section of Britain’s Newsagents. 5 in total.
They will be the heroes of our adverts.
Proudly announcing to the whole Nation that it’s an unmissable rollover.
We’d love to find people with a range of regional accents, ethnicity, and ages.
People with a real charm and character to them. We are looking for memorable people who will deliver their lines in their own distinct and natural way. It could be a guy of Indian Heritage with a strong Yorkshire accent or a Sikh who speaks with a distinctive Welsh twang. Something that makes them interesting and a little bit different.
Above all, they need to feel authentic. We want people to exude a certain naiveté, not awkward but not too polished, giving them a grounding in the everyday.
We would love to search for both real newsagents and actors. Regional people with some amateur acting experience, but with a bag load of local character. They can be a little unpolished in their delivery. But if they do it in a real and authentic way then that's what we are after.
FULLY PAID (fees vary depending on the level of role, but all fully paid!)
Please send an email (SUBJECT: LOTTO) with a PHOTO along with your NAME, REGIONAL ACCENT, WHERE YOU ARE BASED to:
We will then request self-tapes from any suitable people.
*Please be aware that due to the volume of emails we receive we may not be able to reply to everyone. Thanks for your understanding.*
